July 27, 2012  |

Andrew “Dru Brett” Harr and Jermaine “Mayne Zayne” Jackson first met when they were both in kindergarten in Vero Beach, Florida. Flash forward by roughly twenty years, and a rap anthem about the drug trade would put these producers on the map. For The Runners, a chopped up three-word vocal loop changed everything for them: “Everyday I’m hustlin’ / Everyday I’m hustlin / Everyday I’m hustlin’.”

Watch Rick Ross’ music video for “Touch’N You,” featuring Usher

June 20, 2012  |

Visuals have finally arrived for Rick Ross’ first single from God Forgives, I Don’t, and it’s definitely a sensual affair. We spend most of the video oggling one of Rozay’s desirables, as she takes a dip in the pool, and later cozies up on the couch next to the Boss. In my opinion, Rick Ross’ first mistake was inviting Usher to the party. As soon as the super-fit, rich, sexy R&B guy starts singing, the-super fat, bearded rap guy doesn’t look quite so appealing.

Usher’s performance featured a live band, an incredible group of backup dancers, a shockingly elaborate lighting display, and live pyrotechnics, but the highlight of the performance was the interactive component, engineered by Montreal’s Moment Factory.
