We told you last week that Christina Aguilera would be leaving “The Voice” at the conclusion of this season to focus on an album and tour. Now, it appears that Cee Lo Green’s baby arms will be waving goodbye along with her. And taking their places in the big turny chairs will be Usher and Shakira.

The end of the Olympics provided a pretty slow sales week for the music industry, which allowed the 43rd edition of the Now That’s What I Call Music! compilation series to peak at #1 on the Billboard 200, selling 111,000 copies.

Andrew “Dru Brett” Harr and Jermaine “Mayne Zayne” Jackson first met when they were both in kindergarten in Vero Beach, Florida. Flash forward by roughly twenty years, and a rap anthem about the drug trade would put these producers on the map. For The Runners, a chopped up three-word vocal loop changed everything for them: “Everyday I’m hustlin’ / Everyday I’m hustlin / Everyday I’m hustlin’.”

Admit it — it’s too hot to wear pants. It’s July, and as temperatures rise, fashion sense is being sacrificed for common sense. When it gets hot, even pop stars release their inner never-nude. Check out these photos of pop stars and rappers wearing jorts, and let it be an inspiration. Let’s wear jorts every day for the rest of summer. Deal? Deal.

Allow us to add to the cacophony of temperature-related complaints: IT’S HOT OUTSIDE. In honour of the heat-wave we’re experiencing in Toronto (and the recent Rick Ross/Usher collaboration “Touch’N You“), here are 13 photos of Ricky Rozay and Usher Raymond IV sweating buckets. Warning: one person makes this look way better than the other. Actually, the other one looks like he’s covered in bacon grease.

Visuals have finally arrived for Rick Ross’ first single from God Forgives, I Don’t, and it’s definitely a sensual affair. We spend most of the video oggling one of Rozay’s desirables, as she takes a dip in the pool, and later cozies up on the couch next to the Boss. In my opinion, Rick Ross’ first mistake was inviting Usher to the party. As soon as the super-fit, rich, sexy R&B guy starts singing, the-super fat, bearded rap guy doesn’t look quite so appealing.

At the age of eighteen, Nate “Danja” Hills had one objective — usurp the throne from an industry-leading super-producer named Timbaland. After a chance encounter, Danja moved into a spare room in Timbaland’s Miami home, where the two would work together for the next two years.

Last night, Usher performed in London at the Hammersmith Apollo as part of the American Express Unstaged concert series. Usher’s performance featured a live band, an incredible group of backup dancers, a shockingly elaborate lighting display, and live pyrotechnics, but the highlight of the performance was the interactive component, engineered by Montreal’s Moment Factory.
