When Taylor Swift’s realtor showed her this glorious Cape Cod beach house, she just had to have it. The amenities are unbelievable; it’s right on the water, it has seven bathrooms, five bedrooms, and it’s right across the street from her new boyfriend’s grandma’s house.

In an attempt to celebrate her recent landing on the #1 spot of the iTunes charts (or more likely to be closer to her boyfriend and his family), Taylor Swift closed the deal on a $4.9 million beach house in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, directly beside property owned by her boyfriend Conor Kennedy’s family, including the renowned Cape Cod Kennedy compound. Yes, he’s that kind of Kennedy. Conor Kennedy is grandson to Robert F. Kennedy, the younger brother to John F. Kennedy.

Taylor snatched up the property for much less than the $13.5 million asking price, and despite the fact that the relationship is very new, she’s reportedly being warmly embraced by the tight-knit Kennedy family.

Did we mention that Conor Kennedy is only eighteen years old? With Taylor Swift at the positively ancient age of twenty-two, this makes this relationship a borderline cradle robbery. And now she has property on the family compound. Watch out, kid. She might write a song about you one day.
