RedOne is the Moroccan-born producer who is considered by some to be largely responsible for Lady Gaga’s success. Since he produced a handful of songs off of Gaga’s “The Fame,” RedOne has worked with a vast array of Grammy winners and chart-toppers, including Jennifer Lopez, Cher, Enrique Igleasias, Usher, Sean Kingston, Pitbull, Lil Jon, and more. Having him sign on to produce your music is as good a co-sign as you can get these in the music industry. His latest project is “Starships” by Nicki Minaj, as song that seems destined for Billboard domination. For our first Friday Mixtape, we thought it might be a good opportunity to run back eight of RedOne’s biggest hits.
