It’s time to face the next chapter with the fearlessness of Taylor Swift’s new boyfriend, combined with a mettle much more enduring than Justin Bieber’s stomach. In an attempt to expand the scope of AUX.TV‘s, Team Pop Hunter has found a home writing exclusively at AUX beginning today.

October 5, 2012 | Aaron Zorgel
It might be a good time to turn off your Chris Brownout plugin, because we found some footage of him being a drunken goofball. After causing quite the stir by hanging out with Rihanna in public, and subsequently breaking up with his long-term girlfriend, Chris Brown posted a pseudo-artistic video to Vimeo.

October 4, 2012 | Aaron Zorgel
SAMPLED is a column that examines the skeletal production of a contemporary Rap/R&B/Hip-Hop or Pop song. From what song did the loop, sample, or chopped up vocal providing the backbone for a new interpretation originate? This week, the sample is taken from, of all things, an iPhone ringtone.

October 4, 2012 | Aaron Zorgel
When it comes to unravelling the mystery of Houston rapper RiFF-RAFF, there’s no better interviewer for the job than Nardwuar. Watch a video of Nicki Minaj freaking out on Mariah Carey during American Idol auditions
October 3, 2012 | Aaron Zorgel
Drama erupted between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey at a taping of the American Idol callback auditions yesterday in North Carolina, and a video of Nicki cussing out Mariah has leaked to the Internet, thanks to the gossip gods at TMZ. Nicki Minaj says she’s “not fuckin’ putting up with her fuckin’ highness over there,” in reference to Mariah.
